OUR LESSONS

Children are introduced to our unique world of wonder and imagination for one hour, to empower them with CONFIDENCE, SELF-ESTEEM and effective SOCIAL and COMMUNICATION SKILLS.

  • Intro Activities: Our lessons begin with warm up activities designed to include participants physically and verbally, to encourage interaction with each other and to effectively display different emotions with ad-lib, facial expressions and body language.
  • Speech and Language Development: Given that our voice is the most frequently used tool in communication, our speaking and language skills need to be developed from an early age. Voice projection, articulation, jaw exercises all focus on difficult areas of pronunciation, helping ensure clarity and effective expression.
  • Movement and Mime to Music: Much of our communication is nonverbal, so this segment uses movement and mime to develop an awareness of the coordinated interaction of body, time and space. Children love to use these newly learned techniques to effectively convey their message.
  • Improvisation: Improvisation is the main part of our lesson, where children are encouraged to analyse, understand and find appropriate things that fit in with what is needed. Our high energy classes give children this invaluable ability. Working in groups or as a whole class also encourages cooperation and team work – besides creativity -key components of the 21st century skill-set for achieving success.
  • Concluding Activity: To retain the high energy levels, each class ends with an exciting Concluding Activity.
  • End of year show: At the end of the program, A Grand Performance held to showcase recently discovered talent and to display newly acquired presentation and public speaking skills.
